Elosegui casquette today as we enter a record deep freeze for a couple of days.
no idea, but it's possibly the most putty like felt I own. I suppose you don't need a leather sweat when you reach this quality is as much as I can think. I'd always go leather but if you had it in hand.... it's amazing & it is your size. If I catch anything terminal I'll will it to you.Have seen those before, but don't own one of those. I wonder why Borsalino made a hat with a satin sweat. Good looking hat though.
yikes that's weather. Suits it. You look cool and cold. (-:
Thanks Stefan!It's a beaut, John!
Thanks Bowen!Great Homburg John and the Reefer ain’t bad either!

Fantastic, Bob! I may have a new fav in your collection!!
What a great save Max. Love that liner logo. Turned out to be a nice one.Royal Luxury Wormser. It was a Goodwill find. The sweat was demolished, and the felt looked pretty bad, but for the price, I decided to buy it and take it to Ignacio.
He did a pretty good job.

A hat with some presence for sure Jay.The Legislature is in session, and I’m at the State Capitol in a business-like Northwest Hat.

I remember these kind of temperatures in Alaska when I was in the USAF. Better to stay by the fire with a Irish Coffee.I'm sure it could take plenty of snow, in fact it has in the past. But even though it is a tight fitting hat it has trouble with 25 mph winds.
I did a bit of walking and bus riding today under the sheepskin cap.

That and the Moncler down jacket kept my plenty warm today.

Might try a different combo tomorrow morning when the wind chill is supposed to be around -55. Fun times.

I have been watching the temperatures on the news, you guys are really getting an arctic blast up the hoo-ha. That is one fine looking western. Nice lines.Took out the Limpia Creek today, while I could stand it in the cold. Thankfully I didn’t have to spend much time out there. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced these temperatures. -47 wind chills, and falling.

Wow. I was looking for a mariguana plant in the pic until I figured you must have been referring to John's jacket, so I looked up alternative meanings on Google. Sure enough. "A thick close-fitting double-breasted jacket".Great Homburg John and the Reefer ain’t bad either!

Hats and Doobies, A Match, Please! Now that it’s becoming legal I guess it’s just a matter of time before there’s a thread titled Hats and Marijuana, A Match Made In Heaven.” Hmmm. Maybe Ganja or Reefer would sound better. Legal or not I’m taking a pass. I have friends in Garberville who are seriously pondering the collapse of the local economy as commercial marijuana gets up and running.
