I had my Father in law with me today, MGySgt. C.W. Braxton. He turned 100 this past July and never misses an opportunity to get out and about.
He is wearing a J.J. Hats house brand made by Roche. Real nice felt on those hats.

Akubra day yesterday. Cattleman (right) for smoking jalapeños, and Snowy River for garden work and water blasting.

I picked the last of my jalapeños recently, since the frosts were coming. 140 of them!

They got a good smoking yesterday. Drying them until they’re crispy, then I’ll grind them up into a chipotle powder.

Purchased this back in September and it was lost in the mail. Suddenly right before Christmas I get notification that it is going to be delivered!

I enjoyed all your pictures this weekend,. Yesterday I wore my Wolfbrae in military green felt, sorry no pictures. But today was a beautiful Sunday and my Gannon Highwayman in granite 100x beaver felt just right.

Old Akubra Stockman with its new ribbon for a cool wet morning. Looks like the storm saturday finally knocked the last of the pecans off the trees. Ill give it a day or two to dry out and Ill get out the pecan roller and pick them up. Usually get 8-10 pounds of nuts off that tree

Starting off the week here @ Rock Bottom with this Chocolate color Royal Deluxe Stetson Black Lancer with stitched overwelt , 2-1/4 inch ribbon and 2 inch brim. One thing that sets this one apart is the "raised center crease" in the crown.
* Originally there was a plastic tip liner but it was brittle and torn in places so I removed it.

There was a notice inside the box stating the package was undeliverable and sent to the lost mail center in GA. There USPS opened the box where luckily Darle had placed a second shipping label (copy of the first) which USPS then placed over the original (which btw was completely intact) and put the box back in the system
