Happy New Year to all on the FL, and may 2024 be full of prosperous hat hunting.
I think for velour mostly hare was used because of its natural high sheen. Is velour used for hat making usually made from hare, or beaver, or mink? Or something else?
I’m fortunate to own some vintage hats, beaver to rabbit , but this is the only “velour” I own. The others I’ve seen have all been photos on FL.
Tks again.
I like it no matter what. Excellent find, Steve. I'm seeing less and less of these Hückels around.Hückel Weilheim "Extra", possibly mid 1950s and a recent arrival. I think I like it better Brim Up.
