Since I’m not carpentering I decided to start a walking regimen for now the last 3 days.
Made it to the end of my road.
I think this is a sign….

The Mrs and I were out and about this morning enjoying a snowless day on the frozen tundra. Made even more enjoyable with my new favorite hat.
It's a 4X beaver, RCC Western Stores. I was struck by the felt when I took it out of the box, this stands out from even the Stetson and Seratelli 4Xs I have. RCC was Rapid City Clothing when founded in 1947, I don't know if they made their own hats or had someone make them and put an RCC liner in them like Biltmore did for Miller Brothers. RCC was bought by Boot Barn in 2012.
I replaced the cattlemen crown it came with, I don't wear hats to look like everybody else and the cattlemen is way too common these days. One thing you don't see alot is a three dent Wyoming peak. Then a jaunty curl on the 4 1/2 inch brim and we were set.

The Cattleman's crease is nothing to be scoffed at, but the Wyoming 3 dent was a great choice for that one, Fillipo. As was the curl.
