I had to work yesterday (Sunday) taking some kids to a speech contest. Decided to take a favourite out to support them. I went for my Stetson Custom V.

The kids all did themselves proud, but no place getters this year.

Good looking hat, Joe. I wonder if that stitching was always there or was added later.

It is possible. The only ad I see for Paragon Leisure light notes chamois finish with raw edge and no mention of brim stitching. But it also indicates self felted hat band. This one has grosgain ribbon. There is one Leisure lite in the paragon thread belonging to buler … that one has a narrow bound edge and what appeared to be a thin ribbon. But could be a narrow self felt. I suppose there is a decent chance mine was either modified or at least special order... to add brim stitching and the mid ribbon. Coincidentally the mid ribbon and brim stitching is very similar to their Sky Master offering.
