It was a two hat day. This arrived today. I bought it to flip as it is a size 7-3/8, but I popped it on my head and … it fits!

My wife thinks it’s too tall, but how could that be?

Head opening: 8 3/8” x 6 1/2”
4 1/2” crown as pinched in front.
2 3/4” brim
1 3/4” hat band
1/4” reveal with hidden stitched binding on top, and 1/2” reveal with seen stitches underneath. A nice and rare way to sew on binding that Terry and I are trying to figure out how to pull off.

Today I dedicated myself to the second Borsalino poorly explained and even worse photographed by the seller.
It was blue-gray in the photographs, dusty and extremely battered. I took a gamble and upon arrival I found another hat, in the sense that cleaned and put back together it turned out to be an excellent Borsalino

Borsalino Qualità Extra Extra Superiore measures 6 1/2 French points, 60 cm. European and 7 1/2 US, a little smaller than on the size, but wearable

The color is "Lupo" and the ribbon is "Nera".

It will be photographed solo soon together with another Borsalino badly presented by the seller.
Today it is cold here in the north-east of Italy and tomorrow perhaps snow should arrive

Having said that, I thank you for the likes and compliments on the other poorly presented Borsalino "Salice"

Colorado Mountain Hat Co.

The band I pulled off a local estate sale hat that I moved on. Sterling silver and gold plated slide. The prior owner maxed out the adjustment and glued the ends behind the slide. It is a very snug fit on this hat.

The little brand makes me crave a fast-food roast beef sandwich for some reason.
