Today....my phone says 48 deg....i say fake weather! I’m cold. So..a fuzzy felt by Stetson. 3X Fifteen. Not that far off from the Borsa Angora actually.

And....to the anonymous kind sole that sent the last pic i say; “That is the nicest wrapped gift i have ever received. I AM touched by your sheer kindness and bless you”.
I will follow the directions and i think i know who you are. Smiles
Be well. Bowen
I actually thought it was the Borsalino Angora in the first pic! See? You don't really need it, feel free to send it over:D

Thanks, Stefan. It's a highlight of my collecting that i was able to add an original from Mr. Miller.

Today, the Mallory Commander.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
That one ticks all the boxes for me, Jim. Much as I like the original by Mr. Miller, I find that I tend to hardly wear my lighter coloured hats. The commander has the nice mid-toned colours that go with anything.

Thanks, I really like the lighter (non-tan/silverbelly) options, but yes, they don't go with everything. Of course, wear a nice enough hat, and they won't notice you don't match!

Excellent multi-post today. Someday, I'll find a Tom and Jerry.

Day off to ship presents, replace a headlight, pay bills, make deposits, do some shopping and other errands.

Grabbed the Magee Donegal tweed and the natural Gannon for the myriad doings and a trip to the chiropractor. Tweed was perfect for the 30 degree morning weather today and the natural beaver kept my head toasty.

That Commander has such a great shape Jim. The brim binding is just the right contrast.

Reaching out to royalty today for some photos... decided to wear this one to the office.

After just reading all the Vita Felt threads here on the lounge today I noticed this one back when you first posted it in the old days. That liner is just spectacular. One of my favorites of yours (of course I'm drawn to vita felts this week)

All fine hats Stefan. Hog away! The Battersby color of "metal" is interesting, must be bronze? Looking forward to the Lupo comparison.

Gannon in steel:

I do like that Steel color. That ribbon color is a nice contrast, very beautiful. This one appears to have a lower crown than a lot of Gannon's floating around here. Is it from the crease you put in?

Thanks, Mike. It was an estate sale find ($12!!) and I had it pegged for resale at first because it's a 7 1/8. But it fit great so I kept it. These are the finds that make the hunt worthwhile.

Good to hear from you!
