What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

New life for this rough and too small vintage Bradford Saddler, (early '60s?). A generous Lounger gifted this one to me. I was glad I could save this one and make it into something else. The old Bradfords are among my favorites. I was able to reuse everything original to the hat except for the sweat, which was rotted out.

On the block and sized up to a 7 1/4 LO:

Thank you David. The whole block shape was changed and I went up a size, and to a LO. The brim started out at 2 3/4 and I ended up at 2 5/8 with some very slight variances that would actually go totally unnoticed unless I pointed it out.

Thank you, Robert. I like to think of this Cervo as being more of a greyish colour, but it certainly does have green tones. The colour name is Cardiff. Here it is next to a Borsalino hat in the colour Lupo (wolf).

Walkabout this morning in my unlined Stetson Bantam. I love the vents, but it is not a feature to wear again on a windy cold morning. I could feel a cool draft against the side of my bald pate.

Thank you David! 2 5/8 is my preference too. It's off to a good start for head time. I've been wearing it everywhere. You can't beat a thin ribbon for versatility.

Bit of an optical illusion perhaps. It's not as flat as it looks. I wore the brim up today. This one seems to work best with it that way.
