Following Gary's @The Shoe lead. Enjoying Mexican food. This restaurant is a little different in that they specialize in food from the Yucatan peninsula. The guacamole is only the beginning. EXCELLENT!
Wearing an open crown flat brim Beaver Brand.
Classic look. Love it.A late post for yesterday's hat, which was a Gannon in Silvermist.

Nice colour and proportions, Daniele.Let's start by saying that I've seen a lot of beautiful new hats: Brent and Bob have fleshed out the park of new arrivals with beautiful news. Not only them, but many others contributed to the thread of the new hats.
You all have my admiration for the dedication in researching and pursuing old and new examples of headwear

Today I continue with the modern Tonak series
View attachment 464841
This is one of my favorites because it has a short velour and honestly I would have preferred it black, but the only one available was this and thank goodness the Tonak sizes are abundant, even a 58 is good for my head
View attachment 464842
I love the dark brown color with matching ribbon and brim hemming and I sugget to the lovers of the "antelope" or short velour finish to take a look to the modern Tonak

I wish you a good day
What can I say? Stellar hat, Steve.C. G. Wilke possibly late 1920s. I found this Velour back in 2013.
That bit of sunshine makes it pop, Charlie. Lovely.Lee Gold for the cold today. It’s a good feeling.

Hear hear on the 2 1/4 brims. Great hat, David.Rogers Peet. I’ve really come to appreciate my 2 1/4 brims—cool and casual….

In this case we have one of the first Czech hats I bought a few years ago
View attachment 465264
I had to choose between three types of gray and I opted for this, having guessed what I wanted.
The gray in question is light and silvery at the same time with a ribbon that is gray with a hint of pink
View attachment 465265
The brims are edged in the same color and the proportions are, as usual, generous.
I regret not having also bought the same hat in dark gray, now alas it is no longer in production.

Thank you to everyone who enjoyed watching Tonak by liking it.
As always, congratulations to all of you for the magnificent hats worn these days.

Thanks Marcel. It sure did it’s job to keep me nice and warm. I almost melted just carrying it over my arm back here in South FloridaNice hat and coat. I have the same coat as yours. Great colour!
Thank you David.Great combo!
Not this time around as I didn’t really venture into the city. Was down in Joliet.I hope you got an Italian Beef while in the windy, or at least a Hot Dog, or maybe a deep-dish pie. Damn, I got to make a trip to the windy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Stefan. Especially for me… as how many vintage ribbons would pass for Dolphins colors. This hat has certainly been through the mill. But every bit of it adds to the characterI really like those colours. Just works.
Stefan, Thank you! What can I say? Stellar hat, Steve.
Of course I was my Windy Weather Whippet for a business trip to the Windy City (or there abouts)

Woke up this AM to a bunch of that white stuff that Eric has been getting lately. Not something this Florida boy is very used to. The Bill Blass camel hair overcoat that I picked up at the thrift store for a just few bucks a couple years back finally came in handy!
