Stefan, Thank you! As usual a Fantastic series of Hats from you. Really enjoyed seeing the Tress Velour.
Great hats down the line. But I‘m with the others on the Custom V with that wafer edge lookThat Tress Velour clap...clap..
Ususually not a big fan of Akubra, but that's a nice looking hat, Marcel.
Let out the bohemian in you, Brent! Nice!
I will take that as a compliment Steve, thanks, but a comparison with Humphrey Bogart is a bridge too far i guessHere's looking at you kid
Bogie wore a Borsalino in Casablanca and a Royal Stetson as Philip Marlowe, but that Akubra wouldn't look out of place in any film noir movie, Marcel.
They are stiff in the beginning, but now softer just by wearing it! Very comfortable hat. I changed the hatband in the past btw...Great hats down the line. But I‘m with the others on the Custom V with that wafer edge look
Thank you, gentlemen!

Great shape, proportions and colour, Steve. Love the wide ribbon and bow treatment.Wegener possibly mid to late 1920s. I haven't worn this one in a while. Rare to come across old Wegener Soft Felts.
Steve, Thanks! It has an Over Welt so I wouldn't say Homburg. The style is fairly common for that time and place. The Sweatband is very worn but somehow still functional. Could have lost the cord a long while ago. Somehow still has the Crown tip patch.Great shape, proportions and colour, Steve. Love the wide ribbon and bow treatment.
Shame it's lost its inner ribbon. Not often you see those on a Homburg.
First time wearing this Northwest light gray heather.

I think the heather color along with that outstanding ribbon and crown shape are all great by themselves, but together they give it a look that’s far greater than the sum of its parts. I’ll bet it gets you compliments every time you go out the door with it.
Nice! Those are such great hats, and I think they are a perfect alternative to the felt fedoras I mostly wear. Sometimes the day, the weather, the task at hand, or even the mood just calls for a Tilley.Sometimes you feel like going back to basics. Tilley Endurable's T5. This is one of two I own. The second is going through the wash right now.

Fabulous hat, Steve and good to see it again. I would be inclined myself to replace that missing sweatband cord.Wegener possibly mid to late 1920s. I haven't worn this one in a while. Rare to come across old Wegener Soft Felts.
