A working weekend finds me finally home. Outside to enjoy some chores in the cool weather under the brim of a Stetson Playboy.

The sun is dipping close to the horizon and I headed out for a walkabout in a Royal Deluxe Stetson (unnamed hat).

Awesome looking Stetson. I dig the light gray with black ribbon. That’s probably my favorite color combination. It’s appropriate for everything.

I’m very familiar with Brevard. It’s a great little town and beautiful scenery. We were a little further north between Spruce Pine and Boone on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s pretty cool because it’s only about a half hour drive from our house.

He worked for RCA when they had the contract for the satellite tracking station up in the mountains.

My lovely wife and I took some time to enjoy the fall colors. We’re in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I’m wearing my Roswell Stetson. It’s not perfect but it’s got awesome character and I love wearing it. It got a couple of compliments. View attachment 457909

Very nice Gary. We pushed on to Franklin, North Carolina today… our home for the next couple days. The colors started to pop right about the time we hit the North/South Carolina border.

Went with this no name snap front cap in camel for the travel day.

Half-term school break here in Denmark, so took a tour to Copenhagen to have lunch with my youngest daughter. Wore this Super Panizza Castorino velour for the occasion.

Stayed in “incognito mode” today as we cruised up to Highlands to see, Jackson Hole (no Wyoming) Bust Your Butt Falls… (which I could see why one might in fact bust their butt trying to cross) Dry Falls… (which are absolutely in no way dry) and Bridal Vail Falls… (which was in fact almost dry)

Love this tweed with maroon and tans. Can’t make out what’s left of the brand imprint on the liner.

As for the facial hair— how do those of you with moustaches have the patience? I liked the look, but couldn’t eat, drink, or kiss without painful pulls on the upper lip! So off it went.
