What a great brim contour in that first picture, there seems to be a "front down" effect with the brim edge up all around.

Thank you... I tend towards this brim line when wearing dress western hats.

Astounding museum quality piece, once again Alan. I wonder if Glenn Utz was related to Bernie Utz in Seattle...

Thanks... I have always assumed they were family but never found confirming evidence. Alas, I waited too long to ask up in Seattle.

Lord's Hat/Homburg? by P & C Habig made for the Lodenfrey chain in Germany. My guess is it is 1959 based on the mfg tag (hopefully Steve will verify/correct me). Poor phone image that does not do this hat justice. Absolutely wonderful felt, very soft and not stiff brimmed like other homburgs.

Mike, It looks fantastic! It might be considered a "Camber". Based on the "/59" on paper label the production year was 1959.

Today....my fingers and toes are numb on this beautifully rainey cold day. Time for socks, gloves and leather!
And to find the matchy match hat.
So....a vintage Disney Twenty to match a vintage Cal Leather cross zip.
Or maybe the other way around.
Lookin for my gloves??
Be well and warm. Bowen
Man that is a gorgeous hat! Nice jacket too, I want jacket weather!

Thanks Roadopen. I'm a fan of mix and match. Or not match.

Another great hat Red. Nice proportions.

Thanks, Michael. Great looking combination on you again today. Enjoy the last of the summer weather.
Thanks Stefan. I'm ready for the last of the summer weather, but it stuck around again today. Love the new Caxton.

Thanks all,
Michael
