Name's Nelson. I'm the son of a life long Fedora wearer. I grew up always wearing my father's hats and toting my toy six shooters. I finally bought my own hat recently. This is the Stetson Chatham. I don't believe they are in production anymore since they are not on the Stetson website. I bought this through Del Monico Hatters. I tried to go to the local Nashville hatter, but there was a recent publicity kurfluffle and Stetson cut ties with them. So needless to say the Fedora selection was sparce. Not a single 7 3/8.

Anyway, I've enjoyed seeing all the amazing hats showcased here.

Good to meet you, Nelson. You’re off to a great start with a classic fedora. Just be careful you don’t catch the bug and end up with rooms full of hats…it’s been known to happen ‘round these parts.

I’m posting this one again — last seen in Post New Hats — because I’ve been wearing it nonstop indoors and outdoors since I got it! Royal Stetson passed on by @deadlyhandsome. I love this thing! Thank you Brent! It’s also now my tallest bash, 4.5” at the pinch—you guys are a bad influence!

Trying to stay loose—Omicron is hitting New York like a tidal wave. I can’t believe how many friends, neighbors and colleagues have already tested positive. Hope you all stay well and we come out the other side soon.
