Great hats, Max. I love the 5” Borsalino, but that Clear Nutria makes me go weak in the knees. Spectacular hat in equally great condition.
Thank you, Brent! Ana says she doesn't like it. I have to work on her hat educarion.:)

Oh, my wife wouldn’t like it at all either. She likes low crown 2 1/4” brim fedoras the best on me. Go figure.

Brüder Böhm Wien "Derby" possible late 1920s early 1930s and a recent arrival.

Cold morning found me under a Mallory fedora.

After getting home from the dog soirre I was lollygagging about sipping coffee under my Dobbs fedora. My wife calls it my fishing hat. I understand why.

A quick jaunt to the bakery during a light snow squall. My Gannon Wanderer (blue w/charcoal trimmings) was just the ticket to cover my bald pate.

Today this hat came back in my hands and I decided that the color matched the day.
TW Lees C.jpg
T.W. Lees English hat which has the particularity of showing on the only label under the sweatband the color which is "Ruzeno", a Venetian dialect word that means "rusty"
TW Lees Aa.jpg

I do not remember the name of the producer, tomorrow I will go and see it because it has nothing Italian, but this fact is curious
TW Lees 1.jpg
The hat is very well produced and well finished with both the ribbon contrasting the color felt

Thanks for the likes and keep coming the hats parade for the start of winter :)

T.W. Lees are one of the many great Manchester area hat makers, Daniele. Stockport in fact along with Battersby, Christy & Co., Woodrow & Son, and Turner.
Love to see photos of the liner and any labels.

Borsalino Gorasgu - a hat of ample size and weight, made for sale in the U.S. market but without a store imprint on the sweatband. Perhaps 1940s, just before or just after WWII.

Normally, the brim would be a bit too wide for me,
but the overworld brim version suits it perfectly.
I also like the combined colours of the felt and the ribbon.
Really a fantastic hat, Alan!
