Thank you, Brent! Ana says she doesn't like it. I have to work on her hat education.Great hats, Max. I love the 5” Borsalino, but that Clear Nutria makes me go weak in the knees. Spectacular hat in equally great condition.
Thank you, Brent! Ana says she doesn't like it. I have to work on her hat educarion.
Going deep and long on those westerns, Max. There is always the next Hat! Keep them coming.
Love everything about this hat, including the mark for the Denver Dry Goods Co. (The Denver).
Daniele, Thank you! I was missing over the later part of the past weekend.Due Borsalino da ricordare. Complimenti Signori miei
Reggie, Thank you! Sorry I am late to reply. Great insightful description! That’s a very elegant hat, Steve. I really like the the full round dome juxtaposed to the mid length brim and thin brim curl.
Thanks, Reggie. I will!Going deep and long on those westerns, Max. There is always the next Hat! Keep them coming.
And that looks like a hat a Justice of the Peace might wear!I'd like to say this is a case of blind justice, but have to admit I am partial to this old No.1 Quality. City slicker dimensions, c.1920.

Brüder Böhm Wien "Derby" possible late 1920s early 1930s and a recent arrival.
Gray day and slightly less cold than the last few days
View attachment 389438 Today this hat came back in my hands and I decided that the color matched the day.
View attachment 389439 T.W. Lees English hat which has the particularity of showing on the only label under the sweatband the color which is "Ruzeno", a Venetian dialect word that means "rusty"

I do not remember the name of the producer, tomorrow I will go and see it because it has nothing Italian, but this fact is curious

The hat is very well produced and well finished with both the ribbon contrasting the color felt

Thanks for the likes and keep coming the hats parade for the start of winter
Borsalino Gorasgu - a hat of ample size and weight, made for sale in the U.S. market but without a store imprint on the sweatband. Perhaps 1940s, just before or just after WWII.

Normally, the brim would be a bit too wide for me,
but the overworld brim version suits it perfectly.
I also like the combined colours of the felt and the ribbon.
Really a fantastic hat, Alan!
