Stetson Flagship
Light Silvermist felt
About 4 3/4 crown as shaped (5 1/2 open)
1 5/8 Matching silver grosgrain ribbon
2 11/16 brim with large overwelt triple stitched wafer edge
Wind trolley

The Flagship has pulled into port! This is a real beauty. The light silvermist felt has a great hand and overall feel to it. The triple stitched overwelt “wafer edge is a really nice touch. I love the matching ribbon. The liner and sweat have stars in the logo. There is a protector on the liner type but appears to be a sticker type as opposed to the sewn in variety. Inside the sweat is the $12.50 price tag placing the Flagship somewhat over the Whippet’s $10 price point. A couple small stains on the felt that may come out with a little cleaning. A bit of verdigris in the usual spot. I’m sure I am missing some details. But what else can I say… Stetson Flagship. I Did not expect to own one.

Exceptional fedora! The excellent condition is trumped by the felt hue and appointments. Love this hat!

The Flagship fedoras with the bigger ribbon treatment are just so classy looking on the head. The proportions of the tall block with a slight taper at top create an creased crown that will take many options.

Congrats sir. I look forward to seeing it out on your hat adventures over the upcoming years.

Friday Fall adventures started with me wearing a Stetson Royal De Luxe Stratoliner. Glorious sunny cool day.

I continued the thin ribbon hat theme by sport'n a Penny's Marathon (sage green felt hue) for a walkabout.

The hat is "Water Repellent" treatment.

This morning dog soirée was taken wearing a pre-40's Lawrence (made in Canada by the Brock Hat Co.). Wearing hat brim up this morning.

Home, coffee and strolling about in a Stetson. This is a 50's Clear Beaver small brim. Lovely hat.

Blurry pic, but a Clear Beaver marking on the sweat.

Thank you Eric. I am quite over the moon with this one. I have admired yours these past couple years. Did not dream I’d find one for myself.

No how can anyone say they don't like black hats when hats like these are on display?
If need be you can have it refurbished by him: he's still there! View attachment 369730

It's the insides that make it look so luxurious! Superb.
Stefan, I sometimes find hats from Otto Matt but all in small sizes. I have no information on the production facilities. Some hats I find are of name brands. Here is a post a made back in 2017

Thank you! Yes the inside (liner, sweatband) is special.
