I love those sweats on the Santana’s. They are special. Wonderful Gannon as well.Wednesday night out. Went downtown to see John Ledgend. First concert in 20 months.
Since I was hanging out with the hipsters I thought I would don a stingy. I picked this one up about 3 years ago and finally found the appropriate occasion to wear it.

Stunning reminds me of Valley of FireToday's excursion was to Oregon's Painted Hills. The scenery is part of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. The formations of colored clay from different prehistoric periods is truly stunning. Had to get a hat picture or two in the mix. Been wearing a custom beaver felt fedora by Mike Miller of NW Hats.

PH. Möckel Hutfabrik, Homburg vor der Höhe possibly very early 1900s. The Crown has a lower profile and less tapper. You can especially see this from the side view. The Brim is wider with modest flange and tight curl. What is famous about the company that made this Stiff Felt?
Reggie, Thank you! Great looking hat duo from you!Wow! High dome, full brim and a great color. That's a good one.
Randy, Thanks! I have a lot of Stiff Felt Hats. You are finding some wonderful bowlers these days, Steve. Good job!
Mallory Ten today "for youthful smartness." It's a beautiful hat but a little annoying to wear -- the mesh liner is floppy and the felt is so soft that the crown won't really hold its shape. With advisement from Robert @belfastboy I plan to stiffen it up with some shellac. Still -- I love the details, including that unusual bow in the ribbon -- and always love a wind trolley.

Better not ask questions you don't want the answer to, JoeThanks Stefan. Reaching the point when I dig down in a bin and pull out one I haven’t worn in a bit… it’s like a new find. Not sure if it’s the size of the collection or I’m just losing it a bit. Both?
Thanks, Joe.Wow.. stunning hat selection this week Stefan.
Thanks, Steve. Some quiet sunny autumn weather brings out the best in any hat.Sunday wouldn't be Sunday without your weeks worth of hats, Stefan. Glad to see you've had some autumn sunshine, too. As you say, it really makes hats shine. Particularly love the sheen on the Mossant Castor.
Wonderful as always. The vents on the VS are a supercool feature.Morning dog walk in a Gannon Wanderer (inspired by Stetson of sad name) in a green moss. The sun was barely above the horizon when I arrived home and too the pics.
A Gannon Executive (natural beaver felt w/gill ribbon treatment) was my breakfast hat. A bagel and coffee were the menu items during a walkabout the property.
For a quick errand to the hardware store I wore a Gannon Wanderer (granite beaver felt with charcoal trimmings).
I removed the fleece and spent some time pulling up dock supports from the lake in a VS Wanderer (inspired by Stetson hat of said name). I know of no other way other than using a spade and knee deep in the water. This Artlite silverbelly felt is grand.
I needed a shower and a change of clothes from the dirty work early. I changed into a VS Wanderer (granite beaver felt, air vents with a "twist" (opposite of VS ribbon work) for interest.)
Cheers, Eric -
Fabulous, Jim. Lighter coloured homburgs are very rare as light colours are considered less formal, which is contradictory with the formality of the homburg.Light Gray Stetson St. Regis for mass today.

Fantastic hat. Panos does turn up with some great ones now and again; pity he has my size.Brüder Böhm "Böhms Ultima" possibly 1930s. This Velour was made for the Norwegian market. I was lucky enough to acquire it earlier this year via a trade via Panos. I am very happy he found it.
Wonderful! Looks like great fun.Mallory Aristocrat Quality to see Zac Brown Band. Our daughter Megan pulled in her connections allowing the whole family to pay tribute to her Uncle Danny and his favorite band. Special thank you to the band and especially vocalist/guitar John Driscoll Hopkins who went out of his way to make this happen. What an amazing show and fantastic food in the VIP lounge. I only wish Danny coulda been there to enjoy it… I know he was in spirit. Miss you brother. Megan made her uncle Danny proud!

If that wasn't a keeper, Bill, no hat would be safe!First time wearing my latest Borsalino. Thought it was more gray when I bought it but is more of a taupe. This one will be a keeper.
