Great to see you posting again, Reggie!

Back to work this week after several weeks of vacation. Chances for two hat days again. A bit early maybe, but here's the line up.

Your hats were missed during your hiatus. You were too, Stefan.

You've amassed such a great collection, Joe, it's easy for one or two to slip through the cracks even when they're as fine as this.

I have been missing the lounge for quite a long time now. Getting a little fed up with Facebook, too much drama, not enough hats! We had an event at our local Historical Society so I tried to look a little 1870s-ish. A top hat from Stefan and a vest with my dad's Hamilton pocket watch was as close I could get. Need to have Mike Miller build me a proper period top hat or stiff felt. I pledge to be better about being a part of the life of the lounge.

Looking great, Mike. We’ve missed seeing you around regularly.
I need a topper too!

One of my favorite series by Dobbs. I think someone (maybe Anthony Amodeo) posted a picture of the Hanover Square in NYC a while back. Love this one, looks soft and pliable.

I really do enjoy the proportions on these. I figure this was Dobbs answer to the Whippet. If I remember correctly in comparison… while the felt on the Whippet is a bit more dense and luxurious in finish… the felt on this one is thinner and easier to shape by hand. All and all both wonderful hats.

ou've amassed such a great collection, Joe, it's easy for one or two to slip through the cracks even when they're as fine as this.

Ha.. I think that is one of the downsides to having many hats. We can only wear one at a time and some don’t get the attention they deserve. Though Eric manages to do a heck of a job keeping up the rotation

The photo looking down at the top of the crown…yep, that’s what we’re after! Great hat, Joe.

thanks Brent. Forgot how much I enjoyed this one.

Feeling film noir today in my Chapeau Grataloup.
Have a hat filled weekend folks.

There's a lot of life still left in that oldie (I mean the hat of course;)). Works well with that jacket. I don't understand why black hats don't get more love here.

Great selection as always. I am particularly partial to the Maysers.
Just out of curiosity, how would you describe the colour of the Brummel’s?
Thank, Gary. The Brummel's is some sort of odd mix of yellow and blue:D

Stefan, Thank you! Great series of hats from you.
Thank you, Steve.

Thank you Stefan

Fabulous lineup Stefan. I agree with Steve. Impossible to choose a favorite
Thanks, Joe. Lucky thing is we don't have pick a favourite; the hats are happy with that.
Talk about favourites! The Hanover Square is a wonderful hat. I keep mine safely in a box and because of that, it doesn't get much wear:rolleyes:

Thank you, Jonathan. I wasn't gone that long, was I? I'll try to be more disciplined;)

Your absence was noted, a penalty of one month's detention was to be imposed, but such is the beauty of that topper, the penalty is postponed, ad infinitum. (My spell checker freaks at Latin words.)
Good to see you back here. I'm loving the vest, on our side of the pond it's referred to as a waistcoat, my good lady has made me a number of them, all in various styles.
Let me see if I can find one, problem is, did I file it under Stetson or waistcoat? Ah, here we go.

Another one of those hats I keep so safe I don't wear it enough. Makes me happy to see yours on show here, Jonathan.

Glad to see you posting here, Mike. Can't have enough class here on the lounge. The topper and vest prove you have plenty of that to throw around.

Well, there you go: style and class combined in one neat package. Excellent, Robert.
Cool enough for unlined felt today, so I went foraging through hat boxes and came up with my 1960’s Stylemaster. I could be wrong, but I believe modern Stylemasters are lined.
Etsuko went out with a naked head. She has no shame!

Always the flatterer Stefan, you know how to stroke an ego, but don't stop. Just for good measure she made the wide bottom trousers too. I mention that not to show off, but Her Ladyship does like to lurk on these pages and if I should omit such a detail she might just opt for supporting Lysistrata. (How's your ancient Greek knowledge?)

She can take pride in her work with you as her model, Robert. So the compliments are well deserved and work both ways. Had to look Lysistrata up I admit, but usually ancient Greek women are not good news. If Penelope had been working on your waistcoat it still wouldn't have been finished!

Great to see you Mike, and what a return in that dapper ensemble.
Hope you're in as top form as that topper.
