Hey gents—the cooler weather here in the southland has me rooting around in boxes and pulling out the felts. I almost forgot I had this Borsalino I bought in San Francisco in 1986.

Here's a Thoroughbred 10X Western that I converted, and I'm actually still working on it. I'm undecided on using the two ply thin ribbon. I also reused the original sweat but it's kinda "iffy". I'm probably going to change it out and make up a new sweat for it. Anyway, it's converted as far as that goes.

This isn't the actual color. It's more brown. The lighting in my kitchen isn't that good.

I cut the brim down to 2 5/8 and it sports a tall straight crown with a Teardrop crease.

And yet, another color change under different lighting. This isn't the actual color, either.

I'll have more on this hat when I finish it up.

Another project ready to go. This size 6 7/8 4X Resistol is already stripped down and ready for reblocking
