Very coolR.M. Williams Campdraft today.
The glasses I'm wearing are American Optical Ful-vue from the early 1940s.
They belonged to the husband of my mother's God mother, Capt. Clay Evans, Master of the Block Island ferry M/V Elizabeth Ann, a former WWI sub-chaser. The model of the ferry is being held by his daughter Elizabeth Ann Evans, who was named after the ferry.

This is the hat that I’ve asked Michael Gannon to duplicate with my second 220g nutria in natural. Should arrive in July, but worth the wait. I love this hat, and I like the idea of having a modern version that I won’t have to pamper or worry about.

I am hoping the ribbon that you are sending up to me will have a lighter colour that will work for the Smithbilt. I see a dark brown with light to mid tone ribbon work. I am liking that type of contrast these days.Thanks. It’s a favorite, but I’m reluctant to wear it much as it’s so old and irreplaceable. High hopes for the Gannon!
Thanks GF.Really love this one, Michael!
Thanks ET. i just dug out the old Bert Paley coat this morning for the first time of the winter.Awesome hat!! Whole outfit is stylin!
Thanks, Reggie! It is an alanfgag-caliber hat. It used to be his, I think I remember.Sweet hat, Max! Clean, pristine, and made with Vicuna. Ohh, Baby!

Looking good @BobHufford. I like the crease you put in that 3x.
Thank you ETThat is a very cool western Joe!
Thanks, Steve. People enjoyed it tremendously, especially now. Missed out on going skating myself; thought the ice would be in too poor condition, but it seems there were stretches that were decent enough. Damn. Some fantastic Borsalinos again, Stefan. I just love that Barbisio Cowboy. More than a touch of Zoro about it in my eyes.
Great photos of folks on ice. Reminds me of the clips from the 100+ year old film of Volendam you sent me the link to.
In these times of Covid, the small pleasures in life seem to mean so much more.
