Thanks Perry! That wide flat brim is a cool hat, a little bit out of my lane though!
Thanks Bob. HA HA YES, bumped the brim on everything. The tall crown hit the ceiling/roof of the the car as well !Great look on you Rick! Did you find that you were bumping the brim into door jambs or the headrest in your car?
In truth, I’ve been wearing this nutria Gannon in natural almost every day since I received it.

This was yesterday, Sunday. Some of the restaurants are starting to open up here. Me and Mrs. quik finally got out for a bite and some fun hanging out. The hat is a Resistol 10X refurbished by David Gibson.
Thanks Steve! I've been a big fan of turquoise and silver jewelry since I was a teen, many many moons ago!Great looking Resistol, Rick. That's some serious pling bing you're wearing on your wrists and fingers there. Lovely to see the joy in your faces at being able to eat out again. Stay safe, my friend.
Excellent, Steve. Looks great on you. Good to see you got some sunshine as well, even if it was a bit nippy!Wore one of the 5 new hats I just received from Stefan this week. Stetson Premier Lancer. More in the New Hats thread.
A bright, sunny, but cold and crisp winter's day. My red nose shows just View attachment 306023 how cold it was
Glad to see you found it, Michael. It deserves to be worn and that might be the right kind of weather for it.I'd been thinking about this Borsalino for a week or two, so I rooted around this morning until I found it.

Very nice, Bill. Those colours work really well.Knox for services this morning. Note to self *take pictures before wearing face mask as to keep the beard presentable. Removed the jacket and tie before heading to lunch at a local restaurant.

It does have everything to be a favourite, Joe. Lovely hat.View attachment 306123
Mallory Aristocrat Quality
Warm Pewter Felt
4 3/4 Crown as shaped - 5 1/2 Open
1 3/8 Antique Pewter Grosgrain Ribbon
2 1/2 brim with 3/8 grosgrain binding
Hat number 7 of the Mystery Hat Box Nine. This may very well be my favorite of the lot. I would guess this was Mallory’s take on the Whippet. And what a fine job they did! A lot to like about this hat... the color of the felt, ribbon and binding to the dimensions and crease... it all just works in my eyes. The manufacturing tag has this hat labeled at 7 1/4 however for whatever reason it as a perfect size 7 fit. Two more hats to come from the Mystery box. They will be hard pressed to outshine this Malloy.

Stunning, Eric. There must be some way to replicate that awesomeness.Good morning. I watched the US Weather report and see snow and storms. No new snow here. A blue hued 30' s Candian Brock fedora was my deliberate choice to add some color to our gray day.
Cheers, Eric -
Could the colour be "crilon"? I have that one on the list. "Ceilon" would be a new one (not a bad thing of course). Whatever the colour, it is a magnificent lobbia, Daniele.Monday dedicated to Borsalino "lobbia2 and so it will be for the first week of February.

Borsalino Qualità Extra Extra Superiore size 6 so it becomes a 59cm EU size or a 7 3/8 in the US.
View attachment 306206
The paper label tells of a hardly seen color "Ceilon" and a type of hat "Gulaela" that is most widely available on the market.
View attachment 306207 This Borsalino was most likely made in the 1950s.
View attachment 306208
Its shape is one of those I prefer in the "lobbie" built by Borsalino as well as the contrasting combination of the ribbon and the ribbon of the brim, very malleable was made for the Italian market.

Thank you for your appreciation on the Borsalino lobbie shown last week.
A compliment to all of you for the continuous cascade of great quality hats shown.
Good looking Knox, Michael.Knox Twenty goes out and about today. If I actually get about.
