So very classy Steve! I love that ribbon treatment. Happy Stingymas my friend.

A hat where the insides are as beautiful as the outsides. Maybe only for us hat crazies, but still, I really dig this one Rick. Not usually a brim up kind of guy, but this Cervo kind of begs for that look.

Even Santa needs a derby this year. This one is perfect! Merry Christmas Bob.

Merry White Christmas my friend. That furry teddy bear clinging to your head looks like he is doing a good job. We are a little cool this morning, but no white Christmas for Oregon I'm afraid.
Merry Christmas to you, Mike. And I'm looking forward to seeing your aubergine hat with great anticipation.

I'm cold just looking at you, Michael! When it's that cold in central Texas, we have either chili or tamales on the stove! It's a tamale day for me.

Stay warm and have a Merry Christmas..
Ah, it's lovely weather Randy. First bit of winter with some bite. I may ride my bike to the store later for some last minute shopping.

Chili is one of my go to dishes when it's cold, and often when it's not. Today, though, it is French onion soup. Tomorrow I'm going to debone a turkey and stuff it with a forcemeat made of venison, hen of the woods and walnuts. That should keep me busy for the day.

Thanks,
Michael

Be careful outside, Eric.

No hats in the frigid windy weather today.

I was out early and needed to change to warmer attire. Yesterday's blizzard brought some snow, the requisite wind and now cold temps. A wool Cordova Cap was a perfect head gear choice.

This morning I waited for the temps to rise, 9:00am, and then went back outside. Dog soirée, used the snowblower, shoveled walkways, filled bird-feeders, prepared the grill for a beef roast tomorrow, chopped ice around the boathouse foundation and helped the neighbors with some snow challenges. I am thankful for a fluffy, wool Cordova Cap.

The wind chill has us at some ridiculous temps. The actual temp is -3'f (-16'c). With a fleece collar and heavy wool and outside chores it is comfy when out of the wind.

Cheers, Eric -

Sometimes I really could kick my own arse. Arse is how we Brits pronounce ass. Ass is what The Holy Family travelled on when they fled to Egypt. But being Christmas and all that.
My wife has made me the most beautiful, cream, baggy trousers 1920's style. I've been searching and searching for a lid to finish off the look. There's straws a plenty, but Esther made me a magnificent straw, as seen here, so a straw I have.

What I want is a felt, but not any old felt, I want Fruno's Batsake Brothers by Gus Miller, that's what I want. It's got that, how the French say, Ooh-la-la! Santa, are you listening?
