I’m new here just picked up this beautiful 40’s penny’s marathon in tan. Love this thing. Started collecting about two years ago.

Continuing the stingy brim week with my Not-o-liner sold at Joe Lynch in Milwaukee. It says Strat on the sweat, but a 2 inch brim and 1 3/4 ribbon don't seem to fit the standard specs. The liner has been removed and, all in all, it is a nice grab-n-go between seasons hat. This one is a Silver Belly but it has a lot of tan/sand tint in it.

That is a good looking lid. The wide ribbon and the abbreviated brim look good together in that color!

On the third day of Stingymas, my true love said to me..."do you really need another hat!" Of course Santa, I always do. This early 1960s Cavanagh 30 has been in my stable for a while, one of my favorites. If there ever was a poster child for the Stingy Brigade, this hat fits the bill. Incredible felt, Cav edge (of course, they invented it) and a rich dark chocolate color. This style from the early 1960s was all the style, a favorite of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack.
