Thanks, Randall! I'm glad I saw it first!Very nice, Doc! About a month ago I missed one that looked just like it on eBay, because I forgot to bid! I do that TOO OFTEN!!!
Oh well. One day I’ll get another chance. Looks great on you!
Love the colors.
That's a beaut , love the high crown.
Very nice, Brent! Someone done a fine job on the grosgrain ribbon trims!
Love the color combo.
What is the crown height and brim width? The proportions on this one look great on you.
Ah! VS. No wonder!

Dave, Thank you! Great looking Cap from you today!Beautiful!!
Interesting as as I would have guessed a lower crown height. Camera angle I guess! The brim is 3 1/4” and the crown is 6” open. It’s a favorite of mine as well.
Beautiful Borsalino Michael. Love the shirt jacket. That’s just my style.Borsalino Idorsca on a crispy morning

Thanks Joe. The shirt jac is a Grand Slam by Munsingwear and I'm guessing it dates to the 70s, though it could be earlier.Beautiful Borsalino Michael. Love the shirt jacket. That’s just my style.
I had my new MacLachlan cleaned, blocked, and bashed by Ignacio today. It looks even better. View attachment 285607 View attachment 285608 View attachment 285609 View attachment 285610 View attachment 285611 View attachment 285612 View attachment 285613 View attachment 285614 View attachment 285615
Love it. Is the felt whiskey colored?Headed out in a Phoenix hat Rick made me early this year. I need to keep it more active in the rotation. Too often I leave my “nice” stuff in the closet.

Have a good day,

Glad your feeling better, Bill. The FL would be the same without your input. That silver belly looks great. I wish a speedy recovery to both you and your son.Haven't been posting much lately. Just haven't felt very well. My son and I both are dealing with COVID. Anyway, this is the first day I felt like getting out. Wearing a Silverbelly from Northwest Hats.

That's a pretty cool cap, Joe.Doogan Donegal Navy knit with grey/navy herringbone - a couple of these Doogan caps arrived with some other flat caps a while back. Half knit half tweed flat cap... when I first tried them on at the time I didn’t care for the look. What do you know... one cold day (for us) and I changed my mind.

Thanks Reggie. The coat is labeled Juster Bros, one of the premiere menswear/sporting goods stores in Mpls. Quite likely manufactured by BW Harris in St Paul. Harris was one of the pioneers in this storm coat design. They seem to have been popular from the mid-40s to the early mid 50s. They were generally made from a wool and rayon blend gabardine. Early ones had a shearling lining, but most models had an alpaca pile lining, as this one does. Mouton collars and lapels. I understand that Nixon wore a BW Harris model on his visit to the Great Wall in China in 1972, I'm very fond of the style myself and I have one by, if I recall, Lakeland, in a tan gabardine.Whoa! Great hat, but you have to tell me about that coat.
