An annual physical checkup and a hardware store visit had me wearing a tweed suit and a Dobbs Cross Country fedora this morning.

Gorgeous hat. Thanks for sharing.

With heavy rain and gale warnings in the forecast, it's the Selentino for this dreary New England morning.

Your hats demand attention in front of the backdrop. Great fedora.

A very brisk morning for a Marathon

Yesterday afternoon and this morning found me actually out in public. A grocery shopping run had me spiffying up to go in public. A 1930's Canadian Brock fedora was my choice for the "exciting outing."

This morning a run to pick-up meat at the butcher found me wearing public attire. A 1930's Borsolino fedora was my head gear choice.

What in the pre-pandemic days were "errands" are now "adventures."

Perfection from top to bottom, Eric, or from hats to shoes if you will. You set an example.

Very appealing colours, Joe. I likely said that before, but it's still true.

Hey all!
The last few days I've been going back and forth between the Game Bird and this Rainbow. I guess I can't decide if it's fish or fowl...

Have a great day!
Well, with a rainbow there's always a chance for that pot of gold...
Lovely hat, John.

It does more than try, Randall! Fantastic hat.
20s deadstock Brock up brim today; amazing how much hat 3.45 can buy back in the day.

Ventured out for supplies in my early 1950s Borsalino Featherweight. Perfect name for this one, you can barely feel it on your head. Onion skin liner, older style logo, this hat is early! I know it has graced this page before, but I wear it often and love it so.

That is a real beauty, Mike. And those hats demand to be worn. I'm intrigued by these lightweight hats, featherweight, spaceweight, tissue weight, hankachiff and what not; interesting to find out how much they actually weigh.

Ha ha, that job gets tougher every day. Thanks Johnny.

Thanks Eric. Your Cross Country today was a fine hat topping off a fine set of clothes. Hope the checkup went well.

Take good care of it , Michael. The coat is wonderful as well.
Thanks Stefan. I try to keep it in good shape. The coat is probably older than most of my hats.

Thanks all,
Michael

Thank for the compliment sir. I do take some inspiration from your daily example.

It deserves to be worn often as it looks dynamite. I have a Featherweight and I struggle with steaming the hat to a smooth starting point. Darn'd if it always has some unique memory of a previous shape or takes a new unknown shape. Yours looks very orderly. Grand!

Thank you Stefan. I could not resist another day under this one.

I say spend many ays under it. The hat dimensions are flattering.

Eric -
