Great ribbon again on the Resistol, Stefan. Is it Wegener made, or US Resistol? Can we see the back bow and liner?Yesterday was the Resistol Beaver Twenty backbow

'Cause black hats matter...
Thanks Red.You stay bundled up today! I just love the colors and back bow on this cool German.
Thanks Stefan. At this time of year I'm going more for warm looks than cool looks. Ha ha.Looks like you're ready for it, Michael. Cool look.
It's an American Resistol, Steve. Here are some more shots of it.Great ribbon again on the Resistol, Stefan. Is it Wegener made, or US Resistol? Can we see the back bow and liner?
Likewise, can we see the inside of the Scotson. That's a new one for me.
Two nice hats, worn well.

2" of snow when I got up this morning. Mostly gone, by the house at least, now.

Great coat, Michael. You certainly found the right hat to match despite the bite out of it. Looks like you're ready for the civil war/WWI version of the Game of Thrones. Hope you're feeling better, sir. Thanks Red.

Thanks, Stefan. I'd forgotten the liner on the Scotson. Simple in its elegance and ellegant in its simple design. It's an American Resistol, Steve. Here are some more shots of it.

The Scotson I did post earlier in the four hat post, but because it's such an elegant looking liner...

Yup, nice one, John. Almost forgot about that one. You can actually take off the size marking on the liner. Spray some deodorant on a piece of cloth (generously) and you should be able to just wipe it off. Worked for me.Hey all!

Looks like you and Willow are watching something good. Great hat to be a Grandpa in!View attachment 143832 View attachment 143833 View attachment 143834 View attachment 143835 Greetings All:
Today....it’s a Bismuto Borsalino Featherweight, 2 3/4” very thinly felted bound brim with a crown that creases without objection. Interesting is the 3 cord ribbon and bow treatment. Bismuto is a hard color to capture transitioning from light gray to nearly charcoal depending on the lighting. All in all a nice comfortable lightweight hat.
Be well. Bowen
