What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Last evening I was out and about in a vintage Stetson Flagship.

This mornings dog soiree found me wearing a VS (moss green) fedora.

I fixed breakfast for my brother and nephews before they headed out for some water skiing on the lake. Wet suits were needed on this cool summer morning. Grilling in a VS (mint green stratoliner inspired fedora).

Breakfast was buffalo steaks, corn bread with beef gravy and salads. The buffalo steaks are from a local rancher. My visitors left for water activities leaving me to start to lop off branches in an unlined Stetson Playboy.

It should be worn; it's what hats are for after all. Fun to play around with creases a bit to see what the hat wants. Have you looked for a label behind the sweat. Would love to see those.

All this recent talk of Bowlers and G.B. Borsalino fu Lazzaros had me wearing my one and only (so far) fu Lazzaro for my evening walk.

I was hoping to meet up with fellow lounger @Guardian Enzo on my next visit to Kobe, but precautions in these times made us think better of it. Most new COVID cases coming from indulgence in nightlife over here, so we bought some food & wine and took it back to our hotel room to indulge in private.

You guys have really got me digging out my Bowlers and digging wearing them again.
After seeing @TheOldFashioned in his wonderful Woodrow Amylyte, I was inspired to wear this one this evening. I picked it up from @steur a couple of years ago.
Originally a riding hat that had apparently been in the wars, it was renovated by Fleur at Penumbra Hats. Along with Stefan's input I think both he and Fleur brought this one back to life in a very stylish way.
