Hückel Weilheim "Chamois", possibly later 1950s. The fawn colored felt is lighter weight and easily dry creases.

Hückel Weilheim "Chamois" models most likely came from the factory with color coordinated small feathers.

Hückel Weilheim Hat Boxes, made by Zeitler - Karton, Murnau / Oberbayern possibly early to later 1950s. The company moved to Murnau in 1949 and are still in business today.

Wearing my first Nutria Quality today thanks to Justin @J Williams for tipping me off to it. Incredible hat, don’t think it was ever worn. Not a sign of an old crease anywhere in the open crown. Made it hard for me to even bash it, LOL. Still working on the shape. More in the New Hats thread later.

Thanks, Steve. I'm trying to figure out if the weight has some sort of a relation with any of the quality designations. Nothing conclusive so far (hardly a surprise:)).
Stefan, I think it's also market related. I have looked back at all the German market Borsalinos and all are "Qualità Superiore" (wide range of felt types / weights) going back to 1929. The only exception is this 1950s Echter Borsalino "Nutria".

Print ads in the German Hat Makers News also mention "Qualità Superiore". This is from 1930.

Taking a break from the beach on this cloudy day with The Scuttler Cap from Mr. Freedom. A NOS vintage indigo herringbone twill cotton, in an original MF® pattern inspired by vintage 1930’s newsboy eight-panel caps with a genuine kangaroo leather sweatband, and NOS cotton biased tape seam piecing.

A. Breiter München Der Hutmacher Am Dom, possibly mid 1950s. Not sure if A. Breiter München made this one but it looks like they might have modified it based on the hand written tag. Very interesting bow design and brim treatment.
