I'm guessing 40's Greg, but estimating era is not one of my strong points. I will shoot some inside pics.[/QUOTE]

Thanks, Perry. Pics when you get a chance would be great. I figured it was vintage. I'll keep looking.

Thanks, Reggie. Mike (@Redfokker) found this one for me. Not an awful lot I can tell you about it, except that it apparently was custom made for the university of the same name, which still exists. Probably 1950's.

I really like that 50's look. I am familiar with Seton Hall University it is in Northern New Jersy, not too far from here. Very interesting. Both you and Mike can come up with some fantastic esoteric headwear.

I really like that color, Steur. You contrast the buff of the felt with the shine of the ribbon. Thanks for sharing. I may have to "steal" that color combo for my next hat.

Thanks, RM. The felt is a rich brown and the ribbon is quite difficult to pin down actually, because it changes hue under different lighting conditions. Here's a shot of it from the original posting.

Do we need to have an intervention? Today is probably a good day for black leather though. Love the Fiddy.

Hey all!
This old Young's that I found in a thrift store years back. It was in bad shape with moth holes and rotted ribbon and the sweatband was hanging by a few inches of thread. I did my best to bring it back from the edge of death. It has seen a few different ribbon widths and colors since I put it back together (kinda) but this one I like best.
