1900s Stetson "premier quality" paired with a 1933-35 sports coat, and some other vintage and vintage inspired accessories.

Yes, I am. Food poisoning. I had to take antibiotics. I might have ended up in the hospital if I hadn't. It's nice being able to write your own prescriptions [emoji5]

Glad you’re better. Food poisoning is NO fun. Been there x3. Makes you wanna shoot yourself. I believe i prescribed hard liquor to kill the bacteria/virus. I lived so it must have worked.
Get well.

My father-in-law was a Doctor and it was nice having that easy access to prescriptions. I’m glad you’re feeling better and avoided a hospital visit.

The hat parade has been jaw dropping this weekend!

@splintercellsz just a perfect lid, and nice suit and tie to complement. Killer.

My own weekend parade:

Stetson 3X Eddie Bauer with the black ribbon I put on years ago. I’d like to get the original woven band back on it but don’t trust my sewing skills.

That is one Excellent Stetson. I have been wanting one of these New Yorkers, very nice.

Two hat day today. For services this morning a 60s Peters Bros Shady Oaks Banker Special 100 with an Art Fawcett ribbon treatment.

This afternoon went out to do some trading with fedora wearer in a nearby town. Made my wife happy. Left with nine fedoras and came home with seven. Traded four for two. One of the two is a 40s Whippet in fantastic condition. Anyway, choose a 50s Stetson Quality #1 to cover my bald head while trading.

Two great tan hats Bill. The 100 is one impressive hat. Can't wait to see the Whippet out and about!

Returning from late night antics (sobriety not guaranteed). An old Magnoli "Roy Hobbs" jacket that a FL member sold me years back and a vintage stetson renewed by BSHW:

Great ribbon work on that Stetson, is that original or new?

Vintage Sombreros De Luca fedora paired with an old gray double breasted suit for my friends' wedding last saturday.

All great hats Jeff! But I'm partial to that wonderful Homburg. Substantial looking crown on that one, great brim curl. Sweet!

Some Borsalino velour this morning

Love the brim shape on this Borsalino Michael. I'm going to be hanging around the shack today as well. Think I might have what Max has been battling.

I echo Jeff's (Bowlerman) sentiments - quite the hat showing of late. You folks have some really dynamite hats. Thanks for sharing them.

This morning I was out for a dog walk in a VS Wanderer (inspired by the Stetson hat of said name). This beaver felt, granite hued, fedora was made for me to wear when I was heading to the Games of the XXX Olympiad, 2012 Olympic Games in London. Note the twist (gymnastics) on the right side. Very creative of Art Fawcett.

I love the decorative vents. Juries out at my house if the vents are actually cooler for the head. I believe they certainly do look cooler. Art's lightweight felts are dynamite and I appreciated this lightweight during the August heat of 2012 London. It continues to see a bunch of wear and still keeps on truck'n. Hendiatris Citius, Altius, Fortius(Olympic motto in Latin which translates to "Faster, Higher, Stronger.")

This was the last day, Saturday, of outseason good weather
Verde B5.jpg

Borsalino Qualità Extra Superiore, size is 7 or 61 cm. 7 5/8 US
Verde B9.jpg

Color is "Lauro" no indications of the model on the paper label
Verde B1.jpg

Matching high ribbon and the same on the brim. Felt is thin and very malleable
Verde B8.jpg

It is another sin bought in Meran. It is, like all the companions showed in these days, new-old stock
Verde B7.jpg

I like to show the color change in shadow and light. Now the weather is storming with Adige, our river, in flood.

No pictures of today for the heavy rain. Thanks for the likes
