I am wearing a VS (Vintage Silhouette ) hat this evening. This ls a light weight, unlined silvermist beaver, gray ribbon trimmed fedora with a mode edge. It was custom designed/created by VS with inspiration from the vintage Stetson Weston. The Weston was a $15.00 hat compared to it's close cousin the $10.00 Whippet. The difference being the Mode Edge treatment. Be safe, be healthy and see you on this thread soon.
Best, Eric -
Thanks Jeff.Simply a gorgeous lid. Wow.
The Portis looks positively soft as a pillow. Nice one, Michael.
Old creases or new, that's a beauty, Eric. I'm a sucker for a green hat.
Great selection of hats.Meanwhile, I guess I'll try to relearn how to convert the file format, size, and thumbnail/image uploading process on this site in order to share a few photos of my recent headgear. It seems really cumbersome, but I seem to have a good bit of time on my hands now that pretty much all my work has been canceled. Included here are my Clearwater Hats derby with a standard horsehair band, my Buckaroo Sahara crossover hat, my Greeley Hat Works western homburg in granite, and my Texas Hatters Silver Belly Derby. The leather band arrived today. I ordered it 5-6 months ago from an Etsy guy, and asked him to replicate the pattern on my favorite belt, and I think he did an excellent job. It is not perfectly symmetrical, but I do love the hand made aesthetic.
I miss the ease of the app.

Going up town to the post office in my mysterious early 60s Strat clone.
Hope no Coronas cling to me.
This hat has Knox co. Components that I sewed in, but originally, the hat was built by a an unknown hat co. for a defunct chain store.
The sweat band suffered from dry rot, but the rest of the hat was in fine shape. Still one of my favorites. View attachment 221213
Thank you, Steve. I'm trying to find the time this week to give some attention to the lounge. Been a bit busyStefan, good to see you, and so good to see those four covetess hats
Stetson 100. Probably not a lot of them produced after this one hit the shelves. I also have a 7X CB with the square tag.

This is from yesterday just as the snow started falling. This is my refurbished Puerto Fino again. I put everything that was original to the hat back on it.

At my local Kroger store yesterday: NO TOILET PAPER! COME ON PEOPLE! WTH!
There was plenty of Gatorade and Tylenol, though...

I'm wondering if I did pick up some kind of fever though: I'm actually looking at a green hat to buy!
