Some great looking hats. I so miss the app, too.

These are difficult times, especially for folks like your good self reliant on gigs. Stay safe and well, my friend. Once the world is over this, may the music play again!

Meanwhile, I guess I'll try to relearn how to convert the file format, size, and thumbnail/image uploading process on this site in order to share a few photos of my recent headgear. It seems really cumbersome, but I seem to have a good bit of time on my hands now that pretty much all my work has been canceled. Included here are my Clearwater Hats derby with a standard horsehair band, my Buckaroo Sahara crossover hat, my Greeley Hat Works western homburg in granite, and my Texas Hatters Silver Belly Derby. The leather band arrived today. I ordered it 5-6 months ago from an Etsy guy, and asked him to replicate the pattern on my favorite belt, and I think he did an excellent job. It is not perfectly symmetrical, but I do love the hand made aesthetic.

I miss the ease of the app.

Well B, I would have said you couldn't before you showed that you can and should. Gorgeous liner!

Hope you and yours are well and stay so, friend

Greetings All:
Today....not my usual fare, the homburg not the jacket, but this hat has several interesting appointments.
First it’s a Resistol with the triangle “O”, it’s a homburg and it has the most intricate embroidered liner tip i’ve ever seen. The micro stitching amazes me at the detail level for such an old hat. Quite a feat i would think for that time.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: who says you can’t wear a homburg with a 50+ y.o. motorcycle jacket!

All nice ones Stefan, glad to see you. Hope everything is OK at work.

That Borsa Homburg looks a lot like the Cavanagh I just picked up. Nice grey color.
Thanks, Tim. Everything under control here (hope the same for you). All my meetings got cancelled : haven't had this much time at work in decades!

Your Cavanagh has the colour combination I find hard to resist by the way:

A great St. Patrick's Day hat tradition Joe. Minus the Ground Hog Corona Virus Day bit :).
Hope the world can celebrate St. Paddy's Day in full throttle next year. Hope to see you in that Borsalino again next 17th March, too.

So legend has it that every year on March 17 this elusive hat ventures out of its “coffin box”. If it sees its shadow..... six more weeks of corona virus. Either way.. may your day be blessed with your fill of corned beef and cabbage... and plenty of Guinness to wash it down. Happy St Patrick’s day!!

Good to see you looking well, Mike. Please stay so my friend, and stay at home as much as you can.

Happy St. Patty's Day, my wife's annual holiday (hesr name is Patty). Wearing of the green to the hoarding masses. Made a trip to pick up a prescription and an emergency haircut. There was bread on the shelves at Safeway. Maybe we are turning a corner? Wore my Stetson Excellent Quality Stratoliner and a green shirt. Also it was a first outing for a newly restored pair of Aldo Oxfords with a neat texture on the vamps.

Nice VS. Stay safe Jared, and as much at home as possible. Hope the government bail out will help the ordinary folks this time round more than it did the banks last time.

Hello hat friends, from the COVID-19 lockdown zone. Six SF bay area counties are now under shelter in place orders, with Sonoma soon to follow. Most businesses, including my flower shop, are shut down for an indeterminate amount of time, the order is supposed to last through the 7th.

Thankfully, dog walking is still permissible, so the VS playboy was the lid of choice.

Please everyone stay safe and healthy. Wash your hands and minimize your exposure. Not being able to work for three weeks necessitates me getting a move on selling some hats, so I'll be posting some stuff soon.
