This is a Fiorentino. Hat says it was made in Italy. Tried looking it up on the web, found nothing. Inside sweatband is marked 100% fur. It's very soft. Got it free as it was found totally crushed. I reshaped it, though not sure it's the original shape. If anybody has any information I'd appreciate it.

Let's just say they were good "church going girls" I met when I was in the Boy Scouts and we had our weeklies on Wednesday "go to meeting" nights at a local LDS congregation.

Hückel ultra velour hat made for the U.S. market. A little large for me at 7 1/4 but it's wearable on a windless day and a stunning example of how fine a post-war hat can be.

Wonderful hat, but that jacket is something else! It looks as comfortable and warm as an old blanket.

Thanks, John. I've had a fairly good run of late.

I'm almost confident enough to put a couple bucks down on the Brewers for the Series!

That's what it was! I was shooting in the dark with the pickle thingy.

As I recall, old Opus had quite the HSN addiction. He very well msy have bought the pickle forks too.
I like that one a lot. Just don't let Brent know you have his hat.

Ooooh Nice! Love the color on this Strat Richard.

Well, weeks like this don't come around often for me. Two great hats came into my possession within a few days of each other and I get to share them with you. Yesterday was my first outing in a new-to-me vintage Stetsonian, courtesy of Greg. Yesterday, thanks to a hot tip from uber enabler @Bob Hufford, I unwrapped and pulled from an old and slightly beat Disney box, a late 40s/early 50s Imperial Quality Stetson that seems to be the model "Sportsman."

I haven't had this much fun since I dated the Robinson twins!

This one features a felted ribbon, raw edge, and is a substantial felt in a "Suede Finish."

Thanks for the tip, Bob!

Great snag Jim! I always thought that the Imperials were high end with all the bells and whistles. This is more understated than I expected. Wonderful hat to be sure, I guess there were different trim levels on all the models across the board. Love that suede finish, must feel wonderful.

Back to work in a vintage Stetson Avenue. Got to love a green hat!

I selected another unique edge treatment fedora for the afternoon/evening.
Best, Eric -
This is one spectacular hat Eric. Lots of brim and a wonderful finish. Envy...

The model name on this one is interesting. I sent an Airlite to Stefan a while back, I think it was a Champ. Smooooth looking hat.

Nice lines on this Melton Brent. Like the color too.

Dobbs Hanover Square for work tonight. This has turned into one of my favorites.

I am totally enamored with these Hanover Squares. This one is especially nice, deep rich color. Looks to be in great shape too. Nice one Bill.
