Thanks Stefan. Fortunately I arrived back home about 10 minutes before the snow started.Excellent hat and suit, Michael. Better take them inside and protect them from the snow.
Another hat I still need to find for myself. Fantastic hat and outfit, Steve.
Thanks again, Stefan. I've been liking the Charles Knox a lot lately. Wearing it around the cold house.Harris tweed and longhair hat: a winning combination!
All lovely hats, Stefan. There seems to be something slightly suggestive about the labeling on that Mayser. The last few days:

Is that a new one, Brent. That one has a very classic style. Looks like Rick did another fine job.
You make Resistol/Wegener look good, my brother. That one has a great shape. No wonder it’s a fav.Wore this Resistol made in Germany by Wegener today. It is one of my favourite go to hats. Two great hat makers in one lid View attachment 212891 View attachment 212892

Going to have to find a coat if I go out today, but I'm thinking I might relax at home instead. Harris Tweed for that duty.

Yes, a great looking "combo", Stefan!
Thanks for the shot of confidence, Steve.
Honestly, I wouldn’t have thought, for second, that anyone on the FL would be interested in a modern western conversion of mine.
Now, I’d consider buying one of T. Jone’s if he started with a quality, vintage soft hat body. That dude’s good!
I’m still in the learning stage, but thankfully, a quick study, and I got a few good tips from Mr. Jones this week.
Can’t wait to post my Wormser’s new vintage hand sewn and home dyed binding tomorrow.
It’s not finished, but it’s going real good...so far.
Congratulations on your hats, too long to enumerate and praise what you show every day

Chapeau de France - Maison fondeè in 1903, size 59 cm. It fits perfectly

It is a young brother of some Antonin France (homburgs) branded hats

The beautiful and soft felt with a soft surface has a color called "Etna".
The ribbon and the trims of the brims matching perfectly the color of the felt

Well, good, ‘cause here it is:You're too modest, my friend. Looking forward to seeing your Wormser.
My Mayser Spezial on this crisp, sunny day in Denmark. This one is doing well for a 70 year old. That's the hat folks, not me View attachment 213088 View attachment 213089 View attachment 213090

Thank you buddy. I appreciate that. It's all just temporary. The biggest irritation is haggling with the insurance companies.
