A hat that nice so close to food is giving me the heebiejeebies. It was just barely warm enough yesterday to enjoy a few minutes in the morning and at night on the deck with my Falcon Park Lawless repro.

Today.....Call me greedy, call me a fool, but i’ll be wearing “the Twins” today.
Another Churchill 50 showed up yesterday!
Humm...go figure.
Be well all and thank you for the recent kind words as always.

Thanks, Michael. I have a few of these herringbone ties. I believe I got them from Suitsupply, so they're not vintage. They have several stores in the US as well.Great looking newsboy, D. And nice Borsa with the wedding outfit too.
Thanks D. I'm liking this cool weather.
Yes, quite early. The store that sold it went out of business around 1918. And I think it came under the name in the late 1880s. So it's from sometime in between those two dates. The crown is something around 5 1/2"
Great pair of hats, Stefan. Loving that blue Mayser. And the herringbone tie. Not sure I've ever run across one of those.
Thanks all,
Michael

Gorgeous hat, David. Thanks, Jeff (and everyone who liked my last couple of posts. The original Black Cherry is one of my favorite felts - I think you have a hat that uses this as well.
Today we are heading out to brunch and I’m wearing my OPS period Whippet.
Cheers!
David
That hat is absolutely flawless, Doug.At church in a light peach coloured guayabera and my NW Hats Silverbelly/Old Copper fedora. Chilly, but sunny. I love fall days like this, and the leaves are turning fiery orange hues too. Nice.

Thanks, Stefan. Gotta make a hat-wearing roster.Excellent hat, Max.
Well, if I couldn't get it, I am very glad Bowen did. Almost as good. [emoji5]I had the first and offered it here in the classifieds ( a 7 3/8 that fit more like a 7 1/4). No one here wanted it so it went to eBay where someone bought it for Bowen. Someday I’ll have a 50 and/or 100 that fits me. That felt still haunts my dreams.

In Mexico City weather, one can do either, any time of year. Except for the bloody rain.Nice Optimo, Max. I say wear straw or felt whenever you feel like it.
