Love that Sfinge, Stefan. Great hat.

Off to have my eyes examined this morning. Can't see crap anymore. I have to lean into my computer screen to appreciate the beautiful hats, makes my neck hurt. Wearing a trusty NW Hats custom, my granite Whippet Clone with a wool overcoat. Very cold and foggy this morning, pictures from yesterday afternoon (planning ahead) View attachment 201328 View attachment 201329 .
That is such a great color combo, Red. You picked well there.

A ray of sunshine just the time to give light to a modern Borsalino.
Thus we begin the series of Italian heather felts

Borsalino Qualità Superiore size 6 or 59 corresponding to 7 3/8 US

The hat comes from the rich source of Merano, or the remainder of the "M. Hutter" hats shop

I would like to spend a few words on modern Borsalino, this is one, considered that there is no color name, much less the type of hat. This is a magnificent hat and was made in the 2000s
View attachment 201333 Yes, I know they are rare and much of the production has been average and even mediocre, but with a wise choice it is still possible to have excellent products from Alessandria

Having said that, I thank you for your appreciation and likes.
Good day to all and congratulations for the variety and quality of your hats, seen on FL

That is beautiful! I like seeing the heathers, and the colors in that one are very nice. I also like the finish.
Thanks! The heathers fascinated me from many years and I discover more and more some interesting "new" hat

No doubt the Borsalino people still know how to make a great hat. This wild haired heather is a fine example. Let's hope they choose to do so more often.
Thanks Stefano. I hope and cross the fingers. I haven't see the new collection, but in the last years it is always a thrilling:rolleyes:

Love that heather felt. Great modern Borsalino.
Thanks Michael!

The more I see from Hufvud the more I like them. His presence on Facebook is substantial. I'll have to give him a try...

I did my entire transaction with him via FB messenger. Even with only the written word (and some pictures), he was easier to have a conversation with than verbally with many people I know.

That is one lovely hat, Stefan.

Thanks Jim. Great Stratoliner you have on today.

Thanks Stefan.

Thanks Steve. The jacket is a London made Alexandre in a heavy Melton wool. The color wheel said that color combo should work, so I'm glad to hear you liked it.

Thanks all,
Michael
It worked so well, Michael. I have a couple of Alexandre of London jackets myself. Excellent quality.

Two fantastic different looking lids, Stefan. The next time someone asks me why I need more than one hat, I'll show them your two photos, go into a detailed analysis, then move on from there. If they're not convinced after seeing those two, they never will be [emoji145]

The fourth of the three hats I recently bought from Stefan. This was a surprise Christmas present from our favourite hat enabler.

A Valensy Homburg. The maker was a new one on me, but Stefan, in his eclectic expertise, informed me that they were a top notch Belgian hat producer. The quality of this one certainly attests to that. I particularly like the "clipped" style of this Hommie.

Thank you for playing Sinterklaas, Stefan. Your kindness is much appreciated [emoji145
