Sorry for not joining you all this week. It's been a bit hectic at work. Belated happy birthday to Jim @Frunobulax !
Fantastic hats I've seen this week: a joy. Torrential rains only allowed a few quick shots this week:

Had to add a little more black and white to my blue for a trip to the library.

From the looks of the downtown it would have been painless shopping there. It was dead, dead.
Have a good one,
Michael
As usual, Michael, super hat, suit, jacket, scarf, and look. The little extra touch that has piqued my interest this time is that wonderful leather shoulder bag. Beautiful leathery auburn shade to it. Wonderful dimensions and overall design. Bet you can get a few library books that one.

For the first time this November, blue sky and sunshine. Very cold though, so my Akubra Fed Deluxe kindly kept my noggin warm.
Have a great weekend, folks.

Lovely color on that Fed in the sun, Steve. Great looking going there.

Doom and Gloom in my neck of the woods, so decided on the Stetson Dune for the day. The Gun Club collection is one of my favorites of the modern day Stetson offerings.

Michael inspired me to dust off one of my early 1900's Waltham's....

Nice looking Waltham. I think I have one of those Dunes kicking around here somewhere.

After this week I could do with a dose of that Marathon, Michael. Thanks!
Thanks Stefan.

Fabulous coat, Michael.. The hat already was fabulous.
Yes, i like this coat a lot.
No makers name, just an embroidered owners initials. I think they call this broken herringbone, but I could be wrong on that.

Thanks Steve. i thrifted the bag a year or so ago. All it has for an identifier is Hamdmade in Greece rubber stamped on the inside. I think the same or similar bags are available online for little more than $100.

Thanks all,
Michael

I like the Gun Club Dune! The dimensions are just right, and the bound brim looks so good.

Thanks Michael. In my prior life I used to travel all over the world and was able to pick up some nice pocket watches in obscure shops[emoji275] This one I picked up at the Gold Souk in Dubai about 15 years ago.

Of course, what can I say about your ensembles, they are amazing.

I so enjoy seeing you again. I need to develop that steely eyed pose, it shows of the lines of brims so well.

Well I’m not really wearing a hat today since we’re inside decorating with the Grandkids, but I am working on a Mallory that I just received in the mail Wed that was a total mess (more in New Hats), and Lylah is modeling it for me....

The grand kids always look better in our hats, Lylah is no exception. Nice color on that Mallory.

Great looking NY Brent. I have always wanted to find one of those, don't know if they are still in the catalog. Good to see you.

Today's family vacation was a day for visiting and games. I'm not much of a game player so I just hover. Temperatures in northern Washington were 16 degrees over night and a high of 32. Perfect weather for my Borsalino "Angora" from the early 1950s. The color is misto grigio, love how this Italian maker names the color of their hats. This hat was sold in Chicago and has the O.P.S. price controls tag of which places it between 1950 and 1953. In all it's floppy glory, perfect hat for the temps.
