Excellent long hair. I cant think of a better way to enjoy it then with a good pipe and a nice day outside.

Have to agree! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap The ribbon / bow material (subtle horizontal stripes) on that one is really interesting.

Ponte Rialto boater

I'm normally a "level with the ground" hat wearer, but the boater just seems to prefer being cocked to the side a bit.

I went out to lunch with a buddy at work today, and as we were about to leave he jokingly said, "You're not going to wear that stupid hat, are you?" I just cocked the hat to the side and said, "You're ***damn right I am." If it had been anybody else I would've gotten mad, but we just have that kind of friendship where we have fun getting each others' goat.

Oh yeah, and he also made some crack about Leon Redbone, so in the car I made him listen to some Jimmie Rodgers and Emmett Miller. Now he wants me to make him a CD!

Messing around with photo editors, going for an "antique" look.

Mowed the tick and flea infested jungle (some folks call them lawns) in a low end PHM Cuenca. The poor hat doesn't even have a decorative ribbon any more.

I have an assortment of bands from Shushan's on the way to remedy the situation. :)

That is a classy homburg! I really like the dent location and the width it adds to the front. Very nice! :eusa_clap

Yes, exactly. That's a very appealing look, less tapered and with a wider, shallower center crease than the typical Homburg. Excellent!

Michaelshane,

Such elegance is hard to find and what a great hat. The way you wear a cravat I saw for the first time the other day when watching Mulholland Falls. I don't believe it is an English way at all but looks good.

My wife bought me a cravat for Yule and I hadn't worn one since I was a nipper and went out with my folks. My dad was still wearing shirts with detachable collars back then.
