I'm normally a "level with the ground" hat wearer, but the boater just seems to prefer being cocked to the side a bit.

I like it! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Mowed the tick and flea infested jungle (some folks call them lawns) in a low end PHM Cuenca. The poor hat doesn't even have a decorative ribbon any more.

Function over style! Works for me! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Mr. E...love the boater! Looks great with your horn-rims. Don't listen to your friend, that hat gives you great character!

Michael Shane...great look all around. Looks fantastic.

MW...love the color of that homburg!

I'm glad I don't have a homburg. I'd be out of my league today.
In fact, just to be safe, we went with straws.

The sublime vision of a man in a great hat about to light a superb pipe.

I have not yet smoked one of my pipes wearing a hat but I will remedy that soon or once the weather gets good enough to do it outside.

Not sure, but its a Wilke tobacco variety, since that's all I have. Available at vtpipes.com ...very nice stuff!

Interesting! Wilke was the name of famous German (near Berlin) hat company. I actually won a old Wilke Bowler last week which I posted on the eBay thread.
