Is that 7X a silverbelly?

No, I suspect it's Clear Beaver. The sweat band has been replaced sometime way in the past so any printed confirmation of that is gone. The color of the felt is a much more creamy yellow-ish hue than the sort of khaki/green/taupe nature of silverbelly.

A really great look. Change the cap to a shaped felt black and add a heavy plaid jacket you will pretty much have my outfit for the day.

Hi folks, today I am wearing a Dobbs Jet that I acquired at a North Carolina flea market on a recent trip for a whopping $2.50. The color is willow. I bought it to put on Ebay, but I kind of like it. I usually lean toward a wider brimmed hat for myself, but this one is growing on me. Today was actually the first time I have worn it.

Much better today, thanks. I snagged this Strat on the bay just before we did the cruise. If I remember correctly, I had it shipped to my parents' house because we were going to be gone when it arrived. You haven't seen this one in person, but it's most likely 1940's according to JtL. It has a Celanese Yarn tag in it.
