Went to my sisters wedding today. I wore my 1950's Brent fedora and my 4 year old son wore his 1940's Royal Stetson.

Great shot, Phineas. The hats and the event seem to have pepped him up! Looking good!

Jimmy, you have put up a great string of hats lately. Keep 'em coming!

Bart, that light sage VS is outstanding with that ribbon. Looks super!

IC, great to see you and Colby Jack together there!:eusa_clap Great hats!

I wore two today. My FedIV for church this morning in the rain:

And my Resistol San Antonio which I re-creased from a western to a fedora today (more on the "Other OR" thread):

Bart -- the tan/brown combo would have been nice, but the VS looks great. ;)

Garrett -- nice lid. Is that a brown or green ribbon on that one?

Mr. P -- heckuva nice job on that Resistol crease. Looks fantastic! :eusa_clap

AlanC -- neat to see the Lock & Co. lid. :eusa_clap

Cheers,
JtL

This is nice!
I know what you mean about too little crown to work with. That is why I have just about giving up on finding an Open Road i like.
I have had three, all with low[er] crowns.

It seems to be a particular problem with the western style cattleman's creases that are so short. This one ended up just a bit over 4" at the crown and that was all I could squeeze out of it. My Stetsons made in the softer fedora style seem to have more crown available and can go 4.5" to nearly 5" in height. Nothing like a Camp Draft though; now that has height potential...
