For this cool Arkansas morn, I return to the fold with a thin ribbon.
My gray Penneys Marathon.
It has a 2 5\8s brim, the front pinch is 4 7\8s high and the back crown is right at 4 inches with a teardrop crease.

Been quite a while since I perused these pages--lots of great hats being worn/displayed!

Yesterday I wore something a bit different at the behest of my 4yo granddaughter-my "Deion by Dobbs" lords hat. It has a puggaree instead of a ribbon.

A Google search picked up this article snippet. Apparently it's from a deal with Deion Sanders and Hat Brands, Inc., back in 1997. I haven't a clue who Deion Sanders is other then what the snippet says. I'm not a sports fan, but others may be familiar with him.

Cheers,
Tom

Replaced the ribbon on my Dobbs Milan with a vintage puggaree, with many thanks to HarpPlayerGene.

I was about to ask for the ribbon in the "What are you wearing today", because you defined the hat as a modern Dobbs, and I did not recognize it - the puggaree swap explains it all. And the change is for the better! I like the whole outfit.

I had no idea my 'normal' hat shots were so unpopular! lol

I guess I need to mix it up a bit.

Borsalino (modern, not sure of the actual vintage)

Fantastic photos, everybody!

We went to medieval fair in a tiny village out in the middle of no-where.

I had to try some spiced wine:

I got a little tight and the sheriff (or shire reeve) clapped me in irons:eek:

But I got out of jail in time to find my family again:

handlebar bart and Michaelshane,

I'm looking at your black and whites and feeling like I'm three years old again

and between the play time and the meal time

there's enough time to watch how grown men live

Who said anything about your 'normal' (what's that?) shots being unpopular??

Anyway - great Borso! And it's nice to see a black Fedora for a change!! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Stetson Twenty-Five

Stetson twenty-five today, since it's below 90 degrees. With a feather from Billy, our macaw. He regularly supplies feathers in colors to coordinate with almost any outfit!
