Thank you for the welcome, mingoslim. I don't have any pictures of either the hats or me wearing them, but hopefully I'll have some soon.

Dinerman, That's one of the few boaters that escaped destruction on "felt hat day." From what you say, somebody may have tried. Could it be nearly indestructable?

Bud-n-Texas, Borsalinos always look better when worn by somebody "with skin on." Yours is no exception!

cooncatbob, That Adam Feather Lite doesn't look anything like a park ranger. Is that what you were wearing when the kid asked?

deelovely and indycop, That's a super complimentary look! Print that photo, frame it, hang it, and treasure it!

EvenOdd, Glad to see you, and glad to see a Stetson Temple. It really is a good hat, many times better than most starters.

Douglas, While both hats are great, the Knox Premier really stands out!

I wore this to work. It's a Bradford Double X fur reshaped from cowboy to fedora.

But I wore this one home from the office (just so I could say I wore it today). There is no info on the sweatband. There is an obvious semi-circle, below the front grommet. It's just about the right size for the US Army insignia.

Well, this seems like a fine thread in which to make a first post . . . My choice today, out of my staggering selection of 3 hats, was my Cabela's Outback hat. The color is the "Nuloden," also known as brown. It's more western than I would ordinarily purchase for myself, but it's a very comfortable hat. And the earflaps come in quite handy about mid-January.
Welcom to the lounge Aabraxan!!:D

Thanks Douglas. This is by far my favorite hat from Art.
I may ask him to make it in several colors.

I really like the Knox and the Borsalino you posted.

That Open Road is very interesting. When did Stetson make that hat?
