And i don't want to imply that this was what your stylish mobster was wearing in the early '50s, but

The sweat may have been a dead giveaway, but still you have to hand it to the Syndicate that they had good taste in hats.

The hat can take it. Looking good, Michael.
Thanks Stefan

Caught up again.
Yesterday: Borsalino Palladio. Thin as a tissue; a really remarkable piece of Italian craftsmanship.

Today: Knox Westlite. American craftsmanship both old (Knox) and new (Mike Miller).

That Palladio does look paper thin, but the Knox color combo always knocks me out.

The sweat may have been a dead giveaway, but still you have to hand it to the Syndicate that they had good taste in hats.
Dobbs did make a nice hat back in the day, even if their connections were a little sketchy.

Thanks,
Michael

Good to see you again Steven! Great looking straw.

Stetson shantung this morning.
All you need now is a black lab with another band like that around his neck! Great!

An all time favorite Michael! That store name is a hoot!

Stetson Premier, just steamed and re-shaped this morning. "Here's lookin' at you, kid" ;)

I absolutely love the color of the Playboy. A sharp look today Jim. You could claim that devil yourself.

Lovely Tonak, Steve. I've seen the pictures of this epic Czech Find before, but they still get me excited. How cool is finding that!?
Stefan, Thank you! This was a great find for me because it included a good number of rare to find Janyška and a couple rare to find Brüder Böhm. I also made a big (34 NOS Soft Felts) Czech find back in June 2015. Here are the 2 boxes they arrived in.
