Happy July 4th to my country mates from the USA! Go America! Over the long haul, +220 years, we have been a great nation of immigrants and natives. Being a second generation immigrant I am very proud of the USA's venerable history. Obviously not every moment brings pride, but the core principles and ethos create pride.

Up early enjoying the cool 70'f morning temps. I have been out for dog walk and cleaning the boat hull in a vtg. Stetson Playboy in a blue/gray. Perfect hat for a red/white/blue themed day! Wear blue the hues pop and when you wear gray it compliments. Well done extended to the felt hood makers!

Happy 4th of July folks. Nothing could be more patriotic than a straw boater today. c1940 Pedigree boater made for a men's store in Olympia Washington. They installed a store logo ribbon. The manufacture tag shows that it was made by Pedigree hats. It is early 20th Century based on the style of logo installed. I'll be switching out with my other straws throughout the day at our Theater Family BBQ. These people appreciate my hats!
