Seen on the streets (more in the AC) of Hanover, NH, two vastly different forms of straw fedoras. Here we have Alan (left) with a magnificent vintage parabuntal, and Charlie, sporting an early Art Fawcett Milan.

With the huge disparity in hat sizes you can trust each other.

I subscribe to the belief that there is a little bit of larceny in most men’s hearts: I’d drool on Alan’s hats and a couple of Charlie’s might “accidentally get mixed up with mine.”

Today it’s a Blue Borsalino day. This one is the blue twin of the two-for-one twins. Both identical Ecosans from the same seller, same box and for the price of one hat. Needless to say but i was elated!!

I get to SA every couple of months and I don't think I've ever seen anyone wearing one winter or summer. It's usually whatever I'm wearing and a lot of westerns. But I may not be in the right places.
But if you need an excuse to wear it, I'll swear they do.
