I always thought of these semi-calado hats as a bit too ornate for my taste...
Really? Guess I’d better pull that one out of the trade pile then.

Thanks Stefan. That's encouraging because I like your Dunlap a lot.Very nice. Its style reminds me of my Dunlap.
Another string of great looks for you. Has summer finally hit the ground there?
Straw weather in Europe, nothing could be better. Great snaps on those straws my friend.

John Doe panama. I usually don't wear sunglasses under hats (it's what the hat is for), but sometimes the light (or my future) is so bright, I gotta wear shades...

One of the most beautiful Semi Colados I've seen, covet muchly!
Very beautiful straw Eric. Very "Alan like".Thank you to the folks who "liked" and commented on my hats the last few days. I do appreciate and read all the comments. THANKS.
This morning I am out on morning adventures before 6:00am enjoying the relative cool temps. It is a cool 80'f here in Minnesota. I have been wearing a vtg.Stetson Supernatural panama. Ahhh, the gorgeous lines and weave of the straw.
Ahhh, did I say the weave of the straw already? Those lines?
Best, Eric -

It’s time for some Borsalinos!!
It occured to me i tend to post Stetsons of whatever flavor. I love Stetsons without question.
But i “really” love my Borsas!! and they have their own little area of the place where i can see them always!
So today it’s my “mocha java” that likes a center sorta dent. I believe this one is the first i went “all in” and had to beg for.
Then it all started! Ha
2 5/8” raw edge brim, 1” ribbon, light as a feather, a joy to play with.
Be well. Bowen
You are well equipped Michael. Love this straw.Solar Straws Hopoka on a solary sort of day.

I just had my eyes dilated. I am very, very blind right now.
Thought my old Marathon Panama would keep the sun out.

How small is it? I have a pug that would look good on it...Thanks Richard!
Thanks Mike. Mine’s missing the ribbon and is way too small.
Tried my new OR 6X with the brim snapped down today. What kind of tape is used for a hat that is too big?
