Thanks Stefan. That's encouraging because I like your Dunlap a lot.

Another string of great looks for you. Has summer finally hit the ground there?

Thanks,
Michael
Thanks, Michael. It has and it even seems to last for more than a couple of days this time! I have most of my straws lined up for service right now.

Straw weather in Europe, nothing could be better. Great snaps on those straws my friend.

One of the most beautiful Semi Colados I've seen, covet muchly!

Very beautiful straw Eric. Very "Alan like".

Love the brim on this one. Looks nice and old. 1950s?

Great color and super hat band Bob!

Love the weave on the PB Bob. Very nice.
Thanks, Mike. You're close with the snoopy picture, but my nickname used to be woodstock. So this is more on point:

Heading out to the farmer's market for the first time this season. Multiple errands and then a much needed nap this afternoon. Going light with the Cavanagh optimo crease straw. Super tight weave on this one, it must have been high end in it's day, probably early 60s?

Beautiful hat, Mike. The more I see of these finely woven panamas, the more admiration I have for them. Works of art.

I have a confession to make. Yesterday’s Borsa was not the Moca Java but was the two-for-one Twin. It’s hard keeping the kids straight! Ya know.
Today it is the Moca Java.
An appealing attribute i think is how narrow the brim trim ribbon is and how they kept the folded top ribbon in place?? It must be a hidden handshake stitch. It’s the narrowest i have ever seen.
Be well. Bowen
Another lovely borsalino, Bowen. Keep them coming. The ribbon is done stitching the top first as close to the brim edge as possible so the whole ribbon would lie flat on the brim as it were. Then the ribbon was folded back over on itself to the underside of the brim and in doing so hiding the top stitches.

Half blind stitching. NW Hats and BSHW offers this option on their custom hats.

Now that is super nice.

Great looking straw again, Michael. Enjoy the jazz festival.
Thanks Stefan. Your straw today was looking pretty snappy.

Thanks,
Michael

I may change to a boater if the sun stays out, but for now with the threat of a rain shower I'm going Marathon.

I'm still hoping for the boater action for the last day of the jazz festival.

Have a good one,
Michael
Another great look Michael. Perfect tie and hat combo for a jazz festival. A boater will also make a great statement.
