Nice milan Moe. I went with the competition when I found this Penney's Hopoka Solar Straw today.

It was very bent up, but responded nicely to a little steam and heat.

I'm almost starting to look forward to warmer weather.

Supposed to have some big warm-up starting today. So I'm wearing the Adam THE POLAR.

Happy Wednesday.

And while I'm not certain, I think this may be the November, 1942 ad from when THE POLAR was sold as Adam's Hat of the Month. After a lot of searching, I've found no other HOTM ads for heather mixes.

love the look of that one. Great dimensions, fantastic colour for your complexion and hair colour.
Wear it in good health

LONG week last week -- it was our company's big annual user conference. Since I was "on" all week, I couldn't wear any hats. Now I'm on a much needed week-long break, and I'm returning to form :)

Monday boardwalk in Blue #8:

Today, a lovely '50's navy blue Stephen L Stetson homburg. I reblocked this one and added a nice, wide maroon ribbon. Unfortunately, the leather fell right apart in my hands when I attempted to examine the tags, so I had to add a new sweat.

Good to see you Blue.

Blue #8 is very nice.

Blue S. L. Stetson is extraordinary... what a great color. And your ribbon choice is perfect.

Nice score on the Hopoka #2!
Thanks Moe. I like Hopoka a lot, though I still have no idea what it is. Or when they quit selling it. I did at least see that it was imported, from where I don't know. And it seems they were selling this shape and material as far back as at least the early '40s.

Thanks. Can't wait til Aloha and straw hat season:D:cool:
I'm in no hurry whatsoever. I think I would be completely happy if the temperatures ranged between highs of 60 and lows of 40 all year long. I like sweater and jacket weather.

The Polar is an all time favorite Matt.

Never tire of that one, Matt. Heathers rule.

Wet, gray, overcast Hump Day. At least it'll be in the 60s today.

Gus Miller custom weathers the storm.

Best, Eric -
This has got to be the most beautiful Stratoliner on the lounge. That rare color is so wonderful.
