Another early soft hat from the century club - with a Stetson mark that I have not seen on another survivor from the era. The early silver foil store imprint is very nice on this hat - I've found it flaked off in other old hats.

Mullen & Bluett in 1911, the era when this hat was sold.

I like the Stetsonian and I’m bummed that it has been discontinued. The felt is stiffer than my Premier Stratoliners, but it is in no way cardboard in feel like some of my Akubras. The felt is substantial and best for cooler temperatures; this is not a lightweight hat. The hat does has great proportions and I wish I could have one in the Excellent grade.

They’re getting hard to find so if you want one you had better get one now. I got mine a JJ’s when they had a 25% off sale.

I like the tawny color, but the nap of the felt causes it to look discolored in certain light and from certain angles.

I’m always glad to answer questions if you have additional.

Thanks for the detailed description and photos. Indeed the proportions are impressive, and maybe I’ll get a chance to handle one someday. I have a Premier Stratoliner that kinda fills this heavyweight slot for me. So, I’ll still be waiting for that elusive Excellent Stratoliner in sage to magically materialize.
You show great hats and posts, very informative. Keep them coming, I like spending your $$$!
Living vicariously.

Keep me in mind if you come across a 7 5/8 Excellent Stratoliner, or a formula to turn lead into gold as they are equally common.

Very nice color and cool liner.
Going with a stingy-ish vintage Pilgrim today.

Not so stingy, just right for the late 50s look.
New acquisition is starting to shape up... Knox Premier.

Looks great, how is the liner? Sweat? Pictures please.
I really like this one Bob. Nice detail on the brim binding. Cool hat.

Intermittent rain called for an Akubra. Campdraft in Silverbelly:

Very nice! Are there more photos of this hat posted somewhere?
In the conversion corral and in this thread.
Nice Number 1 Bill, but more, closer pics

This was a conversion hat by @bond. When I bought it I had it shipped directly to him to change the ribbon. Here are the additional pictures requested.
