Had the Fed IV out today. Have been trying different bashes to loosen it up, went from a shallow center dent and tight pinch, to a slight diamond and loose dents, to a deep center. Still feels like it could stop a bullet.

Thank you Bowen. The sweatband has a texture applied to the leather... imitating pigskin, I think, but I'm pretty sure it is cowhide.

Excellent eyes! The jacket is 100% goatskin - an Italian made Armani jacket that I've had for many years and don't remember to wear often enough.

Color is "Rodio" and the ribbon "Asfalto" Felt has very short hair finish

It was flooded in some way and never worn. It was restored in Milan - Cappelleria Melegari

The sweatband is stamped with a north Europe hats shop. The wind cord is the "different" element for Borsalino sold outside Italy

I’ve been wanting to post this hat for awhile because it’s a bit different. Kinda cool.
Today it’s a Stetson Open Trail Last Drop. The backside of the liner is kinda pretty too. The only lounge references i’ve found have been an old catalogue pic. Odd fellow to be sure.
